Class Photos Friday, October 2nd!

Hello Carlthorp Families! I am thrilled to be returning to photograph your children this September! My goal is to provide a fun experience for your child, resulting in natural images to capture their special time at Carlthorp. My motto is “Send them to School Dressed and we will Take Care of the Rest!”

Our Schedule will be as Follows:

Friday, October 2nd - ALL CLASS PHOTOS

Kindergarten: Wednesday, September 23rd

1st Grade: Thursday, September 24th

2nd Grade: Monday, September 14th

3rd Grade: Tuesday, September 15th

4th Grade: Wednesday, September 16th

5th Grade: Thursday, September 17th

6th Grade: Tuesday, September 22nd

Frequently Asked Photo Day Questions

How does photo day work at Carlthorp?

With the help of parent volunteers, students are pulled from their morning classes in groups of 3-4 - volunteers help with cleaning faces, buttoning buttons, tucking hair and shirts. Katie captures various poses and keeps the process quick and fun so before you know it, your child is SMILING in a way that makes you think “are these really school photos?” To keep the pressure off your child (and avoid a frozen/forced smile), we recommend NOT telling them to smile for the camera or practicing smiles, but to simply “have a great photo day!”

When will I see the photos?

You will receive a link to view your online gallery (each student receives their own) within 2 weeks of our wrap day (October 2nd). Be on the lookout in your bi-weekly newsletter starting at the beginning of October! I can’t wait to surprise you!

OMG! I’m just realizing I forgot to order last year’s photos - are they still available?

Yes, please contact Katie at katie@katiebotelphotography.com to order previous year’s photos - the only thing better than enjoying this year’s photos is looking back on year’s past and I am proud to now be offering Carlthorp albums to families with a collection of all of your favorites from all of your years - you’ll see this option when galleries come out!
